About me
With 200 dollars to my name I left Russia for NYC to secretly become an Actress. Originally from Northern Russia in Republic Komi. I am a Tatar girl—member of a Turkic people descendent from a people who ruled central Asia in the 14th century. In the snow of the mountains of Komi I spent my childhood. I’d dig tunnels and build houses of snow with the other children. Now I get to build my acting dreams that won’t melt come June.
Living in Los Angeles, California currently, I have been in the U.S. for five years and traveled the world. I initially moved to NYC from Russia, then to L.A. to pursue my acting career after receiving my acting full time training in HB Studio NYC (Herbert Berghof) for three years. After my deep study at HB Studio NYC of scene and stage study, stage fencing, stage combat and acting on camera, I found that I loved strong female character roles. I relish the medieval, fantasy, royal, tribal and physical parts.
Today, I am a dancer at the Gulistan Theatre Dance Company. At Gulistan we specialize in Central Asian dances. We travel and perform on stages across the world in the universal language of dance.
I attained my BA in English and Literature at Vegu, University of Russia. When I don't act, I dance, I produce and direct my own films. I even design the costumes I dance in and love going to see the latest films premiering and attend music, film and dance festivals.
